HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR! this year kinda feels the same...

Had the usual home-cooked steamboat reunion dinner at my grandma's place. My dad brought over this candy thing after dinner and we had fun with it (more fun playing rather than eating it, really). The last time i saw it was probably in mini fair in mg/taiwan.

My sis and cousin spent some time opening it and trying to get some out when my uncle couldn't take it anymore and took over the chopsticks.

got bored after a while and headed to the room just to catch up. my cousin and I both did our nails! :D

there's a supposed superstition that if you stay up on CNY eve, your parents would live a long life? apparently so according to my other cousin so we decided to head down to Shaw Plaza for a 11.35pm movie. We watched The Wedding Game and it was.... so-so. some scenes are potential horror movie clips :b


New year day itself is like a routine. Maternal side, Paternal side, Aunt's side. End.

So... the day before I saw surprises around me everywhere. On my way to work, this guy was walking in the opposite direction in my estate, a cluster of mylar(foil) balloons flying overhead, his hands grabbing tightly to the mess of strings. At work, I said hi to this customer because i remembered that she came before. Checking out the new stock, her boyfriend walked around too. Held in his hand was a big sunflower, and a dainty pink box. very cute.

What to do, call me a sucker for old-fashioned/idoldramaseries/fairtytale cliches D:

& so the other things are mainly just stuff that appear in some points of my life. I do major mint mentos binges at work, just got the latest issue of smitten at the store so i read it, i want the gucci lanyard, one plank from the table fell on my leg so thats the ouch. okay this is getting boring.

Also, as the picture shows. This is one huge apology to my friends out there. Recent events had me thinking a lil. I figured that I'm really pretty damn alone now. I have a very clear picture of what's happening, and i've actually been reading people's accounts of similar incidents on livejournals and stuff. I've been a lazy friend. I don't think i put in enough effort to maintain friendships, like i did in secondary school and stuff. I'm significantly drifting from weng and wenny, both whom i used to be really close with. I'm in a different world from yams& all the other mg people, maybe only cause i dont try. I would say i used to balance my three circle of friends pretty damn well. I don't want to end up alone at the end of the journey. I'm sorry for taking you guys for granted, I'm sorry for the "change". Lastly, thank you, thank you ros for always texting/msn-ing/ calling me out no matter what. seems like you're always there ♥

tight tight. time is tight. my heart is tight. the intense pressure. the result of my procrastination.

this was one of the drawings i did the last time which i promised to blog. no time to waste. i have a couple of hours more to go before my 5pm deadline is up. no sleep until tomorrow night.

i've got xgui's book! (: flipped through it with my sister (who is at home nursing a badly sprained ankle) and was kinda disappointed, to be frank. i expected more drawings, but majority of it was kinda photo art also :/

also, to those who i feel extremely guilty towards; ebb. i'm sorry i'm holding everything up. I want you guys to know so bad i'm trying to get things settled ):

to von& gang. miss you guys! meet up this week or smth? (longer weekend :D) i'll put 2 orders down for the ost, no fret.

prelims start next monday (!!) Amath paper, DPA results. For the rest, its Chinese O Level results also. All the best for everything.

I drew two drawings today and i really like the first one i did. will blog them out subsequently :D meanwhile, study hard and miss juu! (:
